BAS HealthCare in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Board Certified Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens engagement.

You will provide outpatient family practice services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, seeing patients of all ages. Credentialing takes about 21 days and Epic EHR training occurs biweekly. Must hold a GA license, be board-certified, with BLS and a DEA license as required.

• Active Georgia medical license required.
• Board certification in Family Practice required.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA license required
• Credentialing process with GCMB will take ~21 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient family practice services Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Care for patients of all ages.
• Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift.
• Complete credentialing and obtain DEA license as needed.
• Epic EHR training scheduled every other week (8:00 AM–4:30 PM).

Job Details

• Provide outpatient family practice services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Must be able to see patients of all ages
• 20 patient encounters per shift
• Active Georgia medical license required - must be licensed in GA only
• Board certification required
• BLS certification required
• DEA license required - all Associate Practitioners must obtain a DEA license
• A protocol agreement with the GCMB must be completed prior to starting
• Epic EHR training required - conducted every other week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Epic training can only begin after credentialing is complete and must be finished before the provider can start
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 21 days
• Locum Tenens engagement
