Job summary

Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers is seeking a licensed physician to provide medical services to adult patients in acute care and clinical settings. The role includes establishing and directing comprehensive care plans while adhering to HIPAA and organizational policies.

The physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in performance improvement activities, and may provide after-hours coverage as scheduled by the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
• Knowledge of medical care laws and regulations and standard care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services to adult patients in acute care and clinic settings.
• Establishes and directs plan of care for patients.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with HIPAA and related laws.
• Prescribes medications in accordance with state codes.
• Participates in performance improvement programs and team-based care.
• Provides evening and weekend coverage as required by the Chief Medical Officer.

Summary: This position supports the Organization in the following manner:Provider is compliance of laws and regulations pertaining to the Organization’s administration of health carePhysician provides medical services to the patients of Community Health Services in acute care and the clinical office settingEstablishes and maintains a patient practice establishing health plans with diagnosis and performing non-surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems.
