Job summary

TEEMA Group invites a Family Practice Physician to join our Elko, NV site for a full-time position serving patients across the lifespan. You’ll perform exams, preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordinate referrals with specialists, in a busy primary care setting.

Requirements include MD with Family Practice experience, Nevada license, CDS/DEA registrations, and BLS certification. You’ll work four 10-hour shifts weekly, 8am–7pm, Monday-Thursday or Tue-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

Family Practice Physician (MD) – Full-Time

We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician (MD) to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. This position is ideal for a physician who is comfortable treating patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults, and who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

What you will be doing:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
• Conduct routine physical examinations, preventive health screenings, and wellness visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment and care plans.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication therapies as clinically appropriate.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
• Provide patient and family education regarding preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the electronic health record.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.

What you must have:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) with experience in Family Practice/Primary Care.
• Active and unrestricted Nevada medical license required.
• Current Nevada Controlled Substance (CDS) registration and DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must be comfortable and qualified to provide primary care to patients of all ages, beginning at 1 day old.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a busy primary care environment.

Schedule

• Full-time position
