Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include medical diagnosis and treatment; the completion of appropriate documentation in the Electronic Health Record; participation in, and support of, quality assurance activities; adherence to strict confidentiality requirements; positive communication amongst staff and patients; and participation in professional development opportunities.

Requirements
Completion of a certified Nurse Practitioner Program
At least one year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
Other clinical areas may be substituted.
Capacity to obtain proficiency in utilizing Center’s EMR system.
License or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland; Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance license; DEA license
Currently BLS or ACLS certified.
Minimum to intermediate physical effort required. Job includes sitting, standing, reaching, trunk movements, lifting occasional heavy objects with assistance, carrying, dexterity of hands and fingers, and pushing and pulling. Duties frequently require extended periods of walking. Ability to pass vision and hearing screening as required.
Frequent periods of concentration, with attention to details with frequent opportunity for diversification of tasks.
