Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Sandusky, Ohio, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care in a family practice setting. The role covers comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination with physicians and staff.

The ideal candidate has NP/PA credentialing, clinic nursing experience, and strong patient communication skills. On-site practice with potential for hybrid arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of NP/PA experience.
• Current State of Ohio CNP/APRN/PA license
• RN license
• APRN or PA license

Responsibilities

• Perform a complete physical exam and obtain medical history.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures and interpret results.
• Administer medications and injections per state law.
• Educate patients regarding medications, treatments and prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and medical records.
