SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is actively recruiting for a full-time Academic Geriatric Physician. SLUCare geriatric specialists are internationally recognized experts on aging, serving as physician researchers and educators with Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Our doctors have developed geriatric assessment tools and techniques used worldwide.

Job Details

1. Clinical opportunities include ambulatory medicine clinics, long-term and skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient care.
2. Teaching and oversight of students, residents, and fellows across all clinical care sites.
3. Support for geriatric medicine and palliative care fellowship programs.
4. Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, academic/clinical services.

Unique Practice Activities and Opportunities

1. Academic practice at a Level 1 trauma center.
2. Longstanding geriatric medicine fellowship: 35 years of training and over 140 fellows.
3. Participation in national meetings for AMDA, AGS, AAHPM.
4. Active involvement with GWEP HRSA grant.
