Job description

Professional Imaging is an established mobile medical practice serving Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Northeast Texas, Corpus Christi, and the Rio Grande Valley. We provide evaluations for patients with various swallowing disorders. We are seeking additional doctors for our growing practice.

MD Requirements & Paid Training:

1. Physicians with diverse experience are encouraged to apply. We offer extensive training and compensation during this period.
2. Applicants must hold a Texas medical license.

The Ideal MD Role:

1. Work alongside a Speech Language Pathologist on our state-of-the-art mobile clinics, visiting patients at their homes or facilities to perform comprehensive dysphagia evaluations, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies, esophageal assessments, and patient consultations.
2. After consultations, the driver returns the patient home or to the facility while you complete your report. Then, you're ready for the next appointment.
3. No on-call duties, overnight shifts, or weekend work. This is an ideal physician position!

Salary & Benefits:

1. Annual income ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, based on volume, for a 4-5 day workweek. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.
2. 1099 contractor position with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and educational stipends.
3. Malpractice insurance (including tail coverage) is provided by the practice. With over 250,000 evaluations in 15 years, we have not had malpractice inquiries or actions.

Our practice handles about 500 patients monthly, with a team of 26 staff members including physicians, speech-language pathologists, drivers, and support staff. We also have sister practices in the Midwest and Massachusetts.
