Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician at CCWSG

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician to join our Sacramento team, focusing on providing quality care to the elderly and frail in various settings. This role involves overseeing medical operations, supervising staff, and working Monday through Friday with no direct inpatient hospital care required. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in primary care, possess a current medical license, and have a minimum of two years' clinical experience with elderly patients.

Position: Center Medical Director

Starting Salary Range: $270,000 DOE + Bonus and Benefits

Requirements to apply:

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree
• Board Certified in a primary care specialty (Board Eligible candidates considered if they pass boards within 12 months)
• Current active state Medical License and DEA license with full prescriptive authority
• Not on the Preclusion List
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical work experience
• At least one year of experience working with the frail or elderly

We have an immediate need for a full-time, direct-hire Center Medical Director at one of our growing centers.

Job Overview:

The Center Medical Director provides medical care for enrolled participants across various settings, including clinics, homes, nursing homes, assisted living, and personal care homes. While inpatient hospital care is not required, coordination with hospital providers is essential. The CMD oversees daily medical operations, supervises physicians and nurse practitioners, manages department budgets, and promotes quality initiatives, utilization, and resource management. Physical presence at the facility is required to perform job duties effectively.
