Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and all physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

About Our Practice

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has since expanded across eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a team of 70 staff members, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation

• Annual income ranging from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume, for working 4 to 5 days a week.

Our Mission

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These are delivered via a mobile unit, as shown on our website.

Services and Scheduling

We serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients through physicians and speech-language pathologists requesting swallowing studies. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day, depending on volume and location. Our goal is to have staff home by 4:00 or 5:00 PM daily.
