The Community Health Center of Buffalo is actively seeking an experienced Family Planning Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care at our Buffalo facility. Minimum qualifications include NYS licensure as a board-certified Family Planning NP and experience with LARC methods.

Qualificações

• Licensed NYS, board-certified Family Planning Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in family planning including Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; eClinical Works experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for individuals seeking family planning services.
• Develop personalized family planning strategies based on patient needs.
• Educate patients on contraceptive options, benefits and side effects.
• Prescribe medications and contraceptives as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Adhere to laws and regulations governing family planning services.
