Job summary

WellSpan Health in Schaefferstown, PA is seeking a Family Physician to join a dedicated physician and APP team providing full-spectrum primary care to patients of all ages in a close-knit rural community.

You’ll step into an established patient panel after a physician retirement, with a schedule of 35 patient-facing clinical hours and 5 administrative hours weekly, plus Epic EMR with ambient AI scribes to streamline documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and licensed to practice in the US.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency is required.
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or board eligibility is required or preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum primary care to patients of all ages.
• Join an established patient panel after physician retirement.
• Maintain 35 clinical hours and 5 administrative hours weekly.

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
