Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Primary Care Physician in Los Angeles to provide comprehensive outpatient medical care while leading a clinical team. The role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities in a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has an MD or DO, residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds, and board eligibility or certification, with a California license or ability to obtain one. English/Spanish bilinguals preferred.

• Supervise and mentor NPs/PAs; lead and support clinical team.

What You’ll Do

As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive outpatient medical care while helping ensure patients receive coordinated, high-quality services throughout their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, physical examinations, and health assessments
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Developing individualized treatment and disease-management plans
• Providing preventive care, health screenings, and patient education
• Monitoring chronic conditions and adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and laboratory results
• Prescribing medications and monitoring patient response to treatment
• Coordinating referrals and specialty services when needed
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care
• Providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to NPs and PAs
• Serving as a trusted clinical resource for patients, providers, and support staff
• Maintaining timely and accurate medical documentation
• Supporting a culture focused on quality, safety, accessibility, and an excellent patient experience

What We’re Looking For

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics (Med-Peds)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain California licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Interest in mentoring and supporting advanced practice providers
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, culturally responsive care to patients from diverse backgrounds
• Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred
