Are you a client-services and operational professional ready to step into a leadership role at a boutique family office and investment firm? The firm is seeking a Family Office Operations Manager to serve as a trusted operational partner for their portfolio of clients. This is a dynamic, client-facing position for someone who thrives on building relationships, managing complexity, and delivering a concierge-level experience to some of the most discerning clients in the market. The ideal candidate is tech savvy, detail-oriented, with a high EQ. This role is onsite daily in Playa Vista, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, building trusted, long-term relationships through proactive communication, attentive service, and consistent follow-through across every touchpoint.
  • Request Tracking & Project Management: Manage and prioritize an active pipeline of client requests from intake through resolution, maintaining clear visibility into open items and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Operational Reporting: Prepare and deliver a variety of client-facing and internal reports, compiling financial data, summarizing activity, and presenting information in a clear and polished format that meets the expectations of a sophisticated client base.
  • AP/AR & Ad Hoc Accounting: Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ad hoc accounting tasks on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all financial activity.
  • In-Person & Phone Client Engagement: Represent the firm with professionalism and warmth in all client interactions, always reflecting the firm's high standards of service and discretion.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with leadership and external advisors to ensure seamless execution across all client deliverables and operational initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a client services, operations, and/or business management within family office, financial services firm, or private wealth space.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Technical Skills: Comfort with financial concepts including basic AP/AR and personal financial management. Proficiency in Excel and experience navigating multiple platforms and client management systems.
