A leading healthcare provider seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner for a Virtual Care role. This position involves delivering remote patient care and requires at least two years of medical experience, a master's degree, and effective communication skills. Schedule: PRN (potential for FT). Candidate must be available to work every other weekend, 1 minor, and 1 major holiday, in addition to weekdays as needed. Shift times are between 6am-11pm and can be flexible based on shifts.
Licensure: North Carolina license is mandatory. New York and New Jersey licenses are a plus. All MinuteClinic positions are safety sensitive.
The MinuteClinic Telehealth Nurse Practitioner provides patient care via remote technology, collaborating with a team to deliver holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, counseling, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and above. Encounters are documented in an electronic health record (EHR). Providers report directly to the Enterprise Initiative Lead.
Additional Requirements: All employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to exemptions. Must include Nurse Practitioner Questionnaire on resume. Must be willing to work two weekends per six-week cycle and one major and one minor holiday annually.
Minimum Qualifications: At least two years of relevant medical experience, BLS certification, unrestricted license with multi-state privileges, high-speed internet (min 25 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload), effective communication skills, organizational skills, ability to work independently, proficiency with technology, and collaborative skills.
Position Summary: Deliver remote patient care, collaborate with healthcare team, and document encounters in EHR. Requires Masters Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program, current national certification, and state license.
