Job summary

ConvenientMD in the Northeast region is seeking new graduates and early-career PAs and NPs to join its urgent care team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, order tests, and provide high-quality care in a collaborative setting.

DEA-licensed and BLS-certified candidates with emergency/urgent care exposure are preferred. This role offers professional growth, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach within a supportive clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and PA/NP certification with active DEA license.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS not accepted.
• Clinical experience in emergency/urgent care or ambulatory settings preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments, physical exams, and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and address abnormal findings.
• Administer injections, immunizations, wound care, and suturing.
• Educate patients and discuss treatment plans and wellness strategies.
• Document medical records accurately in EMR, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with providers for coordinated, efficient patient care.
• Maintain ongoing professional development and participate in workshops.
