Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking motivated new graduates and early-career Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our urgent care team. You will provide patient-centered care, perform health assessments, order tests, and educate patients in a collaborative environment.

Candidate must hold a PA or NP master's degree, a DEA license, and BLS certification. EMR proficiency and strong teamwork are essential to deliver high-quality care in our New England clinics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certifying body.
• Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• Clinical experience gained through rotations or other settings in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is preferred.
• Excellent team player and proactive, confident communicator.
• Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused orientation.
• Technically savvy with EMR and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of customer service, HIPAA/OSHA regulations, and medical practice operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care with health assessments, exams, and histories.
• Interview patients, perform exams, obtain and update medical histories.
• Order or administer diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and manage wounds.
• Educate patients on treatment regimens and wellness.
• Maintain accurate medical records in EMR and ensure compliance.
