Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care / Urgent Care) in Palmer, Massachusetts for a 100% on-site role, paying $74.87/hr.

You will provide evidence-based primary and family care, manage patient visits and follow-ups, and support clinic operations to deliver high-quality outcomes for a patient panel. This contract assignment offers potential for permanent hire based on attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment (in good standing) and National Board Certification (FNP).
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to work autonomously.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family care: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic condition management, and disposition planning.
• Perform routine examinations and support positive patient health outcomes.
• Order/complete diagnostic tests and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, wellness services, screenings, and preventive care.
• Complete clinic operational/administrative duties (opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection).
• Work collaboratively with a clinical care team and support consistent care delivery across assigned coverage locations.

Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care / Urgent Care) | Details and Compensation

Location: Palmer, Massachusetts 01069 - 100% on-site / patient-facing

Payrate: $74.87/hr

Required Availability: Monday–Friday availability between 8:30 AM-7:30 PM | Saturday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM | Sunday 9:00 AM-4:30 PM | Weekend/holiday rotation (typically 3 out of every 6 weekends, plus possible holidays) | On-call rotation may be required | Occasional travel/float coverage may be needed | Weekly hours may vary between full-time/part-time

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Licensure/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment (in good standing) National Board Certification (FNP program) BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Experience: 1+ year of recent NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care (required)
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to work autonomously
• Comfortable using electronic medical systems (EMS/EMR)
