Elevance Health's Paragon Infusion Centers in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) for on-site, full-time coverage in a day shift. The clinic operates Monday–Friday, 8a–4p, with 1–5 shifts weekly during higher census days, Sick Call, and PTO.

The provider will collaborate with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across specialties, including cardiology, pulmonology, and neurology, with emphasis on direct patient care and in-person interaction.

Qualifications

• MS in Nursing and minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• Current unrestricted RN and NP licenses in the applicable state.
• TB test clearance and Hepatitis B vaccine or waiver required.

Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers

Location: 1855 Medical Center Pkwy, Suite G, Murfreesboro, TN 37129

Shift: Days. Clinic is open Monday- Friday, 8a-4p. 1-5 shifts per week as needed based on higher census days, Sick Call and PTO. Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full‑time, enabling consistent face‑to‑face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. The Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) will be responsible for providing for the health care needs of patients in collaboration with a physician, through advanced assessment and identification of health states including abnormal conditions, diagnosing, treatment therapies and/or evaluation. Performs care in a specialty area such as cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, etc.

How you will make an impact

• Utilizes evidence‑based clinical practice standards to provide direct clinical services for patients within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
• Acts independently to perform physical assessments, diagnostic functions, specialized risk assessments, and make critical decisions regarding a wide variety of health situations, including high risk and crisis situations.
• Acquires patient health histories and evaluates patient, performing physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients clinical problems and health care needs.
• Discusses case with physician.
• Formulates and documents care plan.
• Prescribes medication, therapies and/or other forms of treatment.
• Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy.
• Participates in On‑Call program, which may include after‑hours, weekend and holiday calls and visitations.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Current unrestricted RN license and NP license in applicable state required.
• For Paragon and Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

• Healthcare experience with IV's strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with IV preferred.
• Port, PICC & Peripheral Line experienced preferred.
• Medication Mixing experience is preferred.
• Titration experience preferred.
