Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide healthcare services aligned with training and in keeping with the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act.

The NP will communicate effectively with staff, patients, families and visitors of all ages, while being sensitive to cultural and religious beliefs. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, maintaining accurate records, managing patient flow, prioritizing care, and ensuring follow-up.

Formación

• Must be a Mississippi-licensed RN and NP with approved protocols.
• Must maintain BLS certification per American Heart Association.
• Two plus years of experience preferred.
• Provide primary health care per accepted standards and approved protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Seek physician guidance when necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in a timely manner.
• Facilitate patient flow and prioritize care based on patient needs.
• Adhere to CLIA and OSHA requirements.
• Rotate to other clinics as needed to support operations.
• Attend continuing education and in-service trainings.
