Job summary

Baton Rouge Primary Care Collaborative Inc is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced primary and specialty nursing care in our facility. You will perform physical exams, develop care plans, and administer diagnostics with emphasis on wellness and chronic care management.

Requirements include a Master of Science in Nursing (family health) and current Louisiana NP licensure with prescriptive authority; experience in primary care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing with a family health specialty.
• Current licensure in Louisiana to practice as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
• Substantial interpersonal skills to instruct patients and collaborate with health team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and developmental needs of pediatric to geriatric patients and plan individualized care.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and evaluate psychosocial and cognitive factors.
• Diagnose conditions, order tests, and monitor therapies.
• Prescribe and regulate medications per Physician Agreement.
• Document health data accurately and adhere to guidelines.
