Overview

Carolina QuickCare is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Southport clinic. Enjoy a three-day workweek delivering quick, door-to-door care in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Treat 3-4 patients per hour across all ages
• Order and interpret on-site X-ray and rapid labs (flu, strep, UA, COVID)
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision, and drainage
• Conduct employment and DOT physicals upon credentialing

Requirements

• Active NC FNP or PA-C license (or eligibility)
• At least 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
• FMCSA DOT Medical Examiner certification or willingness to complete within six weeks (training covered)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (renewals supported)

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly rate: $60 - $70, based on experience and clinic volume
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, no night shifts or calls
• Hours: Monday-Saturday 8 AM - 8 PM, Sunday 9 AM - 6 PM
• Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
