Job summary

Youth Villages, Inc. in Georgia seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide independent, age-appropriate medical care for youth in residential programs. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, preventive services, and coordination with our clinical team.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Certified Nurse Practitioner license, and 3–5 years of clinical experience. This is a full-time on-site role supporting youth ages 6–17 across our Georgia campuses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Science of Nursing (required).
• Active nursing license as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (required).
• Have 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Certified Nurse Practitioner (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients.
• Prescribes or administers treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care.
• Provides in-house treatment to patients with minor illnesses and chronic health problems.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members and coordinates patient care.
