Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Express Care (Full-Time)

MFM Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our new Express Care team in Middleton, MA. This full-time role is focused on delivering same-day care for urgent but non-emergent medical needs. Candidates must be committed to providing timely, high-quality care with compassion and clinical excellence. This position requires two weekends per month with corelated days off. Total hours worked per week will be 38-40.

Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat acute conditions such as upper respiratory infections, minor injuries, rashes, UTIs, gastrointestinal complaints, and other common urgent care needs
  • Perform focused physical exams and medical histories
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record system
  • Ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and continuity of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  • Valid Massachusetts licensure and board certification as an FNP or PA all ages
  • Valid Federal DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR)
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

Compensation:

  • $110,000 – $135,000, commensurate with experience
