The compensation for this position includes a base annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, plus a production-based bonus.
This opportunity has the option of working at either of our two Family Medicine Care Centers:
Provides patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the designated supervising staff physician
Obtains medical and personal histories
Performs initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
Educates patients and families
Prioritizes and assesses patients
Provides primary care through wellness visits and assessment
Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses to a variety of patients
Maintains standard universal precautions
Prescribes medications and completes treatments according to office policies and within age-specific parameters.
Maintains and completes all necessary patient record documentation
Assist Practice Manager in clinical skills guidance and training for clinical staff.
Other duties as assigned
Unrestricted active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Texas license
1 year FNP or PA Out Patient Primary Care work experience is required
Demonstrated computer skills with EMR experience preferred
DEA Registration upon hiring
The care center hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm.
Flexible Full Time or Part Time Options: Discuss your work availability during the interview process.
This person will be in a split weekday call and Saturday in-clinic morning (8:00am - 12:00pm) rotation with other Providers, not exceeding more than once a month.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This job will require exposure to patient elements. Works near others, usually within a few feet. May work in a noisy or distracting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and medical equipment. Certain vaccinations are required of all clinic staff.
