Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in NC or eligibility.
• Board-certified in Family Medicine and clinical experience.
• Experience in inpatient or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete H&Ps within 24 hours of admission.
• Participate in limited after-hours coverage with night and weekend call.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to coordinate care.

Position Details

• Full-time role providing medical management for new admissions and follow-up care

• Monday-Friday schedule

• Daily patient volume: ~15-20

• Limited call: 1 night per week + 1 weekend per month (phone only; respond within 15 minutes)

• Call duties include addressing overnight medical concerns, giving verbal orders, and reviewing new admission histories-no onsite presence required

• Intake/Nursing team manages admission logistics; NP reviews history and orders continuation or initiation of medications (e.g., antibiotics)

• Medical team completes all H&Ps within 24 hours of admission
