Qualifications

• Must hold active state NP license or be eligible for licensure in any state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine setting.
• NP education or training completed and accredited by NLNAC/CCNE.
• Must be comfortable with patients aged 0–99.
• Experience with communicable diseases.
• Must have or obtain BLS through AHA.
• Criminal history free of disqualifying offenses per policy.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within SOP and under physician supervision.
• Documents medical histories and completes required paperwork.
• Evaluates patients and provides follow-up care.
• Provides emergency and first aid treatment until transfer to a local system as appropriate.
• Performs minor procedures within scope (e.g., simple suturing).
• Reviews cases daily and reevaluates as needed.
• Carries out physician orders and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Assesses and prescribes medications noting therapeutics.
