Job summary

TriHealth Clinic at Walgreens Withamsville is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced retail clinic. The Advanced Practice Nurse will treat acute conditions, promote wellness, and expand access through in-person and virtual visits.

The on-site clinic operates near Cincinnati and offers a rotating schedule 7 days a week, 363 days a year. The role requires an NP/ CNS degree, board certification, specialty certification, and RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Graduate from NP, CNS or midwife program.
• Board Certified APRN.
• Specialty certification in area of expertise.
• Professional membership in specialty nursing organization required within one year of start date.
• 3-4 years experience in Family practice, Geriatric, Occupational health, or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides episodic and chronic care, screening, and education to clinic patients.
• Supports and follows evidence-based guidelines.
• Participates in Quality Assurance audits and education.
• Achieves company objectives related to quality, patient engagement, and finances.
• Collaborates with physicians and other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
• Completes follow-up calls per departmental policy.
• Prescribes drugs and therapeutic devices per formulary.
• Orders labs and imaging and interprets results.
• Maintains patient-centered communication and care across 7 days a week.
