Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• DEA license or ability to obtain one prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and diagnoses illnesses.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; develops treatment plans.
• Provides patient education and coordinates care with providers.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Participates in clinic rotations, meetings and professional development.
• Supports health promotion and disease prevention for families.
