HealthTexas in San Antonio, TX seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to join the Leon Valley clinic. You will examine patients, diagnose illnesses, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate families and communities about health promotion and disease prevention.

The ideal candidate will order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor patient progress, coordinate care with other providers, and work both independently and as part of a team in a values-driven environment.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited NP program with board certification.
• Experience in family practice and primary care.
• Ability to perform physical exams and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients.
• Interpret data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform a complete physical exam and record findings; formulate working diagnoses.
• Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide patient education and counseling; administer injections and medications.
