Job summary

The U.S. Army health care team seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary health care to Soldiers, their families, and communities during humanitarian missions and contingencies. You will work with a dedicated team to promote health and prevent disease, while supporting peacetime operations and emergencies.

You will be part of a mission-driven environment focused on excellence, collaboration, and leadership development in military nursing communities.

• Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
• U.S. citizen
• Current, valid, active, and unrestricted FNP license

Job description

Requirements:

• Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
• Must be between 21 and 42 years of age upon initial appointment. Prior commissioned time is credited one-for-one against the 42-year age cutoff.
• Current, valid, active, and unrestricted nursing license as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Must be a U.S. citizen
