Four Winds Hospital in Katonah, NY is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for inpatient psychiatry. The role collaborates with health services leadership, physicians, and care teams to deliver comprehensive medical care to adults, adolescents and children during inpatient stays.

The position covers three 12.5 hour shifts (8:00am–9:30pm) with one weekend per month (8:00am–2:00pm). Qualified candidates hold a NYS FNP certificate, a valid DEA number, and ideally Board Certification; salary starts

Qualifications

• Current NYS certificate as a family health nurse practitioner.
• Valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license.
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• Salary starting at $130,000.00.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the Director of Health Services, consulting physician specialists, staff psychiatrists, primary care providers and outside consultants to develop appropriate health care plans.
• Conduct medical histories and physical exams upon admission and for episodic medical problems for adults, adolescents and children during inpatient stay.
• Teach, counsel and assist individuals to assure responsibility for prevention of illness and the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health.
• Three 12.5 hour shifts 8:00am - 9:30pm with one weekend a month 8:00am-2:00pm
