Qualifications

• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment and care plans.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with New York State regulations.
• Provide preventive care, wellness visits, and health education.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient outreach efforts.
