Job summary

The American Academy of Family Physicians is seeking a dedicated Army Family Nurse Practitioner to provide top-quality care to Army Soldiers and their families.

This role involves conducting physical examinations, making patient referrals, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care. Eligible candidates must have a Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing and a valid RN license.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must have a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
  • Must possess a current, active, valid and unrestricted license as a RN and/or RN as required by the state issuing the license
  • Must possess a national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to serve Active Duty
  • Must have a permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
