Job summary

Bankole Family Clinic PLLC in Denton, TX is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. You will deliver comprehensive primary care across all ages in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include exams, managing acute and chronic conditions, ordering tests, interpreting results, and coordinating with physicians and care teams while maintaining thorough EMR documentation. Texas FNP certification and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Current FNP certification from AANP or ANCC.
• Active Texas RN and APRN licensure.
• MSN or DNP in Nursing from an accredited program.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Texas.
• Experience in family/practice or outpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct physical examinations, health assessments, and wellness visits.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illness).
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and treatment protocols.
• Prescribe medications and educate on medication management.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams for continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR.

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and wellness visits


• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illness


• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies


• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols


• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on medication management


• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure continuity of care


• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system

Requirements:

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from AANP or ANCC


• Active Texas RN and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure


• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program


• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in the state of Texas


• Experience in a family practice, primary care, or outpatient clinical setting preferred


• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
