The Project Manager Family Nurse Practitioner (PMFNP) provides both clinical and operational leadership for the Dr. Gloria J. McNeal Nurse Managed Clinic's community-based healthcare programs. The selected candidate will oversee clinic operations, supervise healthcare personnel, support grant initiatives, and deliver direct patient care to underserved populations. This role serves individuals experiencing health disparities, including people experiencing homelessness and other at-risk populations, while also supporting healthcare services provided in community settings, including elementary schools. Candidates must possess Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification and have experience providing care across the lifespan.
Candidates must reside in San Diego, CA. Frequent travel between clinic and community sites within the candidate's assigned region is required. Travel expenses are reimbursed. Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to support clinic operations, outreach initiatives, and grant-related activities.
Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
