Job summary

Britt Medical in Northern California seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide full-spectrum primary care for patients from newborns to elders. You will care for pregnant and postpartum women, perform wellness screening, and order and interpret diagnostics.

This role offers clinical autonomy with supervision of Medical Assistants, LVNs, and RNs, collaboration with physicians, and opportunities to apply advanced clinical judgment in a family practice setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a California Board of Registered Nursing accredited program with a Master's degree or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner certification program.
• American Academy of Nurse Practitioners certification required.
• Current DEA registration required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum primary care from newborns through geriatrics.
• Care for pregnant and postpartum women as part of family practice.
• Provide prenatal care, family planning, and women's health screenings.
• Perform well-child exams and preventive care.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and perform minor procedures.
• Prescribe medications and age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on preventive health, nutrition, and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in supervising Medical Assistants, LVNs, and RNs.
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment with autonomy.
