Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible with certification within required timeframe).
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Maine.
• Experience in graduate medical education or teaching residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical supervision and teaching for Family Medicine residents in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in didactic teaching, case conferences, and academic curriculum development.
• Maintain an active clinical practice while serving as an educational role model for residents and medical students.
• Supervise residents in continuity clinic and hospital-based patient care.
• Promote evidence-based medicine and quality improvement initiatives within the residency program.
