The role emphasizes outpatient continuity care, resident precepting, didactic lectures, curriculum development, and involvement in inpatient care and obstetrics within a multidisciplinary team; schedule is typical M-F 8-5 with dedicated GME time.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABFM or AOBFM.
• Valid Georgia Medical License or eligibility via IMLC.
• Commitment to medical education and good standing with current employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum continuity patient care in outpatient clinic.
• Precept residents; deliver didactic lectures; collaborate on program projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement.
• Offer training in inpatient care and low-risk obstetrics as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in low-risk prenatal and postpartum care.
