Job description

Kernodle Clinic's Walk-In Clinic in Burlington, NC, is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our team of four physicians and two advance practice providers. This physician role is part of a respected clinic with a strong commitment to serving the community.

The position offers an excellent work-life balance while allowing the physician to contribute to a patient-focused clinic that has been a cornerstone of healthcare in Burlington for many years.

Position Details:
  • Schedule: Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM; Sunday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Clinic Setup: Six exam rooms, one procedure room, and two physician offices
  • Support Staff: Two receptionists, two RNs, and four CMAs
  • Patient Demographics: Payor mix includes 33% BCBS, 28% Managed Care, 21% Medicare, 6% Workers Comp, and 5% Medicaid
  • Patient Age Range: Serves patients aged 3 and older
  • Location: Located next to Alamance Regional Medical Centers emergency department
  • Onsite Resources: Access to onsite lab and x-ray facilities for convenient patient care
  • Seeking physician experienced in both urgent and primary care
