Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Family Medicine Physician to join our San Saba clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a rural setting while being part of an integrated healthcare system that prioritizes excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
About the Role
As a Family Medicine Physician at our San Saba clinic, you will:
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages.
Manage chronic and acute conditions, preventive care, and health education.
Work alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who have been instrumental in delivering care to the community.
Serve a diverse patient population, including migrant and farm workers, families, and individuals with limited access to specialists.
Coordinate care with regional specialists, with the nearest facilities being 1-2 hours away.
Engage in community outreach and mentorship opportunities.
This position requires a physician who is passionate about rural medicine and dedicated to becoming an integral part of the community.

Key Responsibilities
Provide full-spectrum family medicine services, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Supervise and collaborate with experienced NPs who manage a significant portion of patient care.
Navigate rural healthcare challenges, including specialist access and transportation limitations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs.
