This position is at Optum, located at the Mile High Clinic in Aurora, CO. Optum is a clinician-led care organization dedicated to improving healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing full-scope primary care services
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Counseling and educating patients and families
• Documenting patient encounters accurately in EMR
• Formulating diagnostic and treatment plans
• Prescribing medications and therapies
• Ordering lab and imaging tests
• Coordinating care with specialists and ancillary services
• Supervising Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners as needed

Qualifications include:

• M.D. or D.O. with completed accredited residency in Family Medicine
• Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine
• Active Colorado Medical License or ability to obtain
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain

Preferred experience in population health models is a plus.
