Family Medicine Core Faculty at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC, seeks a board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as Core Faculty for our 8-8-8 Family Medicine Residency Program. Join our mission to educate and prepare community-based physicians to care for rural and under-served populations in southeastern North Carolina and surrounding regions.

Job Summary

• Devote most of your professional effort to teaching, administration, scholarly activity, and patient care within the program
• Serve as a family medicine resident advisor
• Assist with scholarly activities
• Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and selection of medical student applicants, schedule permitting
• Attend and participate as a voting member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee
• Contribute to special committees as needed
• Represent the program at local, state, and national specialty conferences
• Attend leadership and professional development meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or administrative team
