Job summary

Fair Hill Community Physicians seeks a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to deliver comprehensive, continuous care for all ages. The role emphasizes collaborative practice with the care team, patient education, and preventive services to meet diverse community needs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school (Required)
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program (Required)
• Active, unrestricted physician license in Pennsylvania (Required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Required)
• Active DEA Registration (Required)
• Current BLS certification (Required)
• 2+ years of experience in Family Medicine (Preferred)
• Experience in primary care or community health settings (Preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) provides comprehensive, continuous healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The Physician works collaboratively with advanced practice providers, healthcare staff, and support personnel to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The role involves patient education, health promotion, and preventive care, tailored to the diverse needs of the community served by Fair Hill Community Physicians (FHCP), and includes clinical leadership and oversight of the care team.

Qualifications:

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school (Required)
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program (Required)
• Licenses and Certifications
• Active, unrestricted physician license in Pennsylvania (Required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Required)

Essential Functions

• Conducts comprehensive physical exams and health assessments.
• Develops individualized care plans and prescribes treatment as needed.

• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
• Performs minor in-office procedures as clinically indicated.

Clinical Documentation

• Promotes preventive health practices, including vaccinations and screenings.

• Participates in professional development and continuing education.
• Attends staff meetings and contributes to clinical quality improvement.
