JOB SUMMARY

Physicians provide comprehensive care for the appropriate patient population, including diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses across body systems. They utilize diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, prescribe medication, and may hospitalize patients. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and delivering healthcare services aligned with St. Luke’s mission, "The Patient Above All Else." Physicians prescribe procedures, medications, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to promote recovery, prevent future health issues, and foster healthier lives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Experience: Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current or pending license in Minnesota and/or WI; DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing; Board eligibility or certification in the appropriate specialty.
