Job Overview

Saint Joseph Health System has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for an American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) certified or eligible physician to join Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) as a full-time Associate Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME). The role involves working with Family Medicine Faculty Physicians and Family Medicine Center practices located in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Program Details

The SJRMC Family Medicine Residency, established in the early 1970s, has grown into a 9/9/9 program with a one-year Sports Medicine Fellowship program.

Responsibilities

1. Provide administrative, supervisory, faculty, and direct patient care functions within the residency program.
2. Maintain clinical skills through direct patient care, covering a wide age range from pediatric to geriatric.
3. Maintain skills specific to Obstetrics, as appropriate for a Family Medicine physician.
4. Adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives (ERDs) for Catholic Health Care Services.
