Family Medicine Physician Job with Premise Health in Gaffney, SC

Position Overview: Part-time primary and urgent care physician providing direct medical care to employees and family members aged 2 and up at an employer health clinic in Gaffney, SC. 29 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with half days on Wednesdays and Fridays. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records and managing 10-12 patients per hour is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide episodic, preventive, and urgent health care services.
2. Conduct histories and physical examinations; prescribe medications and treatments.
3. Develop treatment plans collaboratively with patients; provide medical education.
4. Refer patients to appropriate specialists or resources.
5. Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of treatments.
6. Maintain accurate medical records using EPIC.
7. Participate in setting health center goals and developing health programs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited medical school.
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience in primary, urgent, or emergency care.
• Licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine.
• Current DEA certification; BLS certification required; ACLS may be required.
