Family Medicine Physician Job with Grady Health System in Decatur, GA

Join Grady Health System as a Family Medicine Physician at the new Flat Shoals Outpatient Center opening Fall 2025. As a key provider within Grady, you will deliver primary care services, focusing on comprehensive, patient-centered care to the community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, safe, and timely patient care in accordance with Grady's mission and vision.
  • Complete charts and forms promptly; monitor in-basket messages.
  • Identify clinical issues for quality and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the care coordination team for proactive patient management.
  • Participate in team huddles and de-briefs, utilizing evidence-based decision-making and practicing AIDET.
  • Respond effectively to patient complaints and work with leadership to improve processes.
  • Maintain clinical competency and participate in educational activities, including teaching students and residents if applicable.
  • Attend departmental, clinic, and mandatory division meetings.
  • Maintain active privileges and complete administrative requirements timely.
  • Ensure the provision of safe, comprehensive, culturally competent care.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Completion of primary care residency program.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred.
  • Georgia medical license without restrictions.
  • Board eligible or certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or preventive medicine; certification within one year of employment.
