ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our growing practice in Middletown, Delaware.

Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply!

Position Highlights:

• Team Composition: Part-time physician, full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (APC), and two highly skilled Medical Assistants (MA).
• Patient Demographics: Internal Medicine for patients over 18 years old, Family Medicine for all ages
• Patient Panel: 1200 patients with an average of 12-15 patients per day.
• Virtual Flexibility: Opportunity for one virtual day per week.
• Call Schedule: Shared call schedule of 1:9 with another local practice, averaging 3-10 calls per week.
• Additional Compensation: Paid desktop coverage and moonlighting opportunities available.
• State-of-the-Art Facility: Constructed in 2021 and includes Pediatrics (newborn), Neurology, and Psychiatry services onsite. New equipment/tech with implementation of AI DAX Copilot scribe service in the fall.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with onsite specialists (Endocrinology, Surgery, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Pulmonary) for group consults within 48 hours.
• Utilize onsite case management for chronic disease and virtual behavioral health consultant.
• Participate in clinical collaboration and onsite group consultations.
