About the Position

Brown University Health is expanding in Massachusetts with plans to open our first primary care site in Taunton, MA. As Rhode Island’s leader in primary care, we serve over 120,000 patients across more than 25 medical offices. We seek board-certified or eligible family medicine physicians interested in primary care in Massachusetts. Our collaborative, team-based environment promotes high-quality care and physician fulfillment.

Highlights

• Work with a team including one other physician, an experienced advanced practice provider, nurse care manager, patient care navigator, and administrative staff.
• Telephone-only call, approximately 1:6 ratio.
• Night nurse triage service reduces call volume.
• Opportunities to develop specialties such as geriatrics, obesity medicine, LGBTQ care, and office-based procedures.
• EMR system with ongoing optimization.
• Average 18-20 patients per day.
• Diverse patient population.
• Dedicated medical assistant per provider.
