About the Position

Aspirus Wausau Family Medicine Clinic & Residency Program

Family Academic Faculty (with or without OB), Wausau, WI

Responsibilities

Clinical

• Provide essential education and supervision for residents, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Devote up to 40% of time to patient care without residents.
• Handle call responsibilities approximately 1:20 nights/weekends for inpatient OB (if applicable), pediatric, and newborn care.
• No adult inpatient medicine call required.

Teaching

• Dedicate at least 60% of professional effort (minimum 24 hours/week) to teaching, administration, scholarly activities, and supervision of residents.
• Serve as a mentor and advisor to residents.
• Participate in departmental educational programs, including didactics and continuing education.
• Engage in scholarly activities and community-based research.
